About Gencox Tablet

Gencox Tablet uses include treating pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, and other musculoskeletal conditions. It contains Etoricoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that reduces the production of prostanoids responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation while minimizing gastrointestinal side effects compared to non-selective NSAIDs.

Gencox Tablet Dosage and Administration

Adult Dosage:

  • Osteoarthritis: 30mg to 60mg once daily.
  • Rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis: 60mg to 90mg once daily.
  • Acute gout: 120mg once daily for up to eight days.

Children Dosage:

  • Not recommended for children under 16 years.

How to Take:

  • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
  • Can be taken with or without food, though food may delay onset.
  • Take at the same time each day.
  • Use the lowest dose for the shortest time.
