• Angina: start with 40mg two or three times daily; usual dose 120mg to 240mg daily
• Migraine and essential tremor: usual dose 80mg to 160mg daily
• Anxiety: 40mg daily, up to 40mg two or three times daily
• Irregular heartbeat or overactive thyroid: 10mg to 40mg three or four times daily
• After a heart attack: 40mg four times daily for 2 to 3 days, then 80mg twice daily
• Elderly: start with the lowest dose

Children Dosage:

• Irregular heartbeat or overactive thyroid: 0.25mg to 0.5mg per kg three or four times daily
• Migraine under 12 years: 20mg two or three times daily
• Migraine 12 years and older: same as adult dosage
• Children's doses must be set by a doctor

How to Take:

• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
• Take it at the same times each day.
• Follow the exact dose and schedule your doctor gives you.
• Do not stop it suddenly; your doctor will lower the dose gradually over 7 to 14 days.
• Tell your surgeon or dentist that you take it before any operation.

Inderal Tablet Warnings

Don't use Inderal Tablet if you:
