About Novidat Syrup
Novidat syrup uses include treating urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, and gastrointestinal infections. It contains Ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes, preventing bacterial cell division and causing cell death.

Typhoid fever
Bacterial diarrhea

Novidat Syrup Dosage and Administration
Always follow your doctor's instructions exactly.
Adult Dosage:
250mg-500mg every 12 hours, depending on the severity of infection.
Duration: 7-14 days, depending on infection type.
Children's Dosage:
NOT recommended for children under 18 years of age due to risk of joint/cartilage damage.
Exception: May be used for inhalational anthrax exposure in children.
How to Take:
Shake well before use.
Measure accurately with the provided measuring cup or spoon.
Can be taken with or without food.
Take at evenly spaced intervals to maintain constant blood levels.
Complete the full course even if you feel better.

Don't use Novidat Syrup if you:
Are allergic to Ciprofloxacin or other fluoroquinolone antibiotics
Are taking Tizanidine (muscle relaxant)
Have a history of tendon disorders related to fluoroquinolone use
Have viral infections

Have kidney or liver problems

Have myasthenia gravis

Also, remember:
Do NOT take antacids, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, or iron supplements within 6 hours before and 2 hours after taking Novidat
Avoid excessive caffeine intake
May increase sensitivity to sunlight; use sunscreen
May cause tendon damage; stop if you experience tendon pain
Drink plenty of fluids to prevent kidney problems
