About Prospan Syrup

Prospan Syrup uses include relieving cough, bronchitis, and chest congestion in both children and adults. It contains a special Ivy Leaf Extract (EA 575) from Hedera helix that loosens thick mucus, soothes irritated airways, and reduces the urge to cough. It is sugar-free, alcohol-free, and has no artificial coloring, making it suitable for the whole family.

Prospan Syrup Uses

Your doctor might give you Prospan Syrup for:

  • Acute cough and dry cough
  • Chest congestion and mucus
  • Symptoms of bronchitis
  • Chronic inflammatory bronchial conditions

Prospan Syrup Dosage and Administration

Adult Dosage:

  • 5ml to 7.5ml three times daily.

Children Dosage:

  • Children 6 to 12 years: 5ml three times daily.
  • Children 2 to 5 years: 2.5ml three times daily.
  • Children under 2 years: only under medical supervision.

  • Shake the bottle well before use.
  • Measure the dose with the provided measuring cup.
  • Continue for at least one week.

Prospan Syrup Warnings
