Pytex Tablet is used for a variety of painful and inflammatory conditions, including:

Pytex Tablet Dosage and Administration

Adult Dosage:

• The typical dose is 1 ablet once daily, or as prescribed by your physician.

How to Take:

• Take with a full glass of water.
• To reduce stomach upset, take with food, milk, or an antacid.
• Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after swallowing.

If You Miss a Dose:

If you remember soon after the scheduled time, take the missed dose. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Do not use Pytex Tablet if you:

• Are allergic to piroxicam or other NSAIDs

Other Important Notes:

• Long-term or high-dose use of NSAIDs like Pytex may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.
• They may also cause gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation—especially in elderly patients or those with previous GI disease.
• Seek medical help immediately if you experience black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, swelling, rash, yellowing of skin or eyes, or difficulty breathing.
