About Tarivid Tablet

Tarivid Tablet uses include treating a wide range of bacterial infections including urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, prostatitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease. It contains Ofloxacin, a second-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA replication, killing gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Complete the full course to prevent resistance.

Tarivid Tablet Dosage and Administration

Adult Dosage:

  • 200mg to 400mg twice daily depending on infection type.
  • Duration typically 5 to 14 days.

Children Dosage:

  • Not recommended for children under 18 years without specialist advice.

How to Take:

  • Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
  • Take on empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after meals.
