Torex-IR Tablet uses include relief of pain, swelling, and stiffness in arthritis, as well as period pain, muscle and tendon pain, and gout attacks. It contains naproxen sodium, an anti-inflammatory painkiller that blocks the chemicals in the body that cause pain and swelling. Use it only under medical supervision because it can cause stomach bleeding and raise the risk of heart problems.

Your doctor might give you Torex-IR Tablet for:

• Rheumatoid arthritis

Torex-IR Tablet Dosage and Administration

Always follow your doctor's instructions exactly.

Adult Dosage:

• Arthritis: 550mg twice daily, or 275mg twice daily if your doctor advises
• Pain, period pain, tendonitis, and bursitis: 550mg first, then 550mg every 12 hours as needed
• Do not take more than 1,375mg on the first day or 1,100mg a day after that
• Acute gout: 825mg first, then 275mg every 8 hours until the attack settles
• Older adults should start on the lowest dose

Children Dosage:

• Not suitable for children weighing less than 50kg

How to Take:

• Swallow the tablet with a full glass of water.
• Take it with food or milk if it upsets your stomach.
• Use the lowest dose for the shortest time.
• Do not take other painkillers such as aspirin or ibuprofen with it unless your doctor advises.
• Tell your doctor if you need it for a long time.

Don't use Torex-IR Tablet if you:

• Are allergic to naproxen or any ingredient
