Talk to Autism Consultant on Undiagnosed Autism

While my brother has not received a formal diagnosis of autism, he displays several behavioral traits that may be consistent with neurodevelopmental conditions. These include signs of obsessive-compulsive tendencies, an intense need for control, and difficulty adapting to changes in routine. For example, he becomes extremely distressed when things don’t go as expected, exhibits strong emotional reactions (such as crying) to minor inconveniences, and shows controlling behaviors such as restricting our mother from leaving the house and locking her inside when he leaves. Additionally, he has firmly refused to continue any formal education, religious studies or specialized learning support, which further affects his social and cognitive development.
