I have been suffering from on-and-off constipation for quite a long time. Because of this, I often experience itching around my anus. After some time, I started having bright red bleeding from the anus. Later, I noticed a small skin-tag-like lump on the outside of the anus, and after some time, another one appeared beside it. Before these skin tags appeared, I had severe pain. The bleeding seems to come from the outer part of the anus, although I also sometimes have itching inside the anus. The blood is bright red and usually comes out as drops. There are no obvious external hemorrhoids (piles) visible. After some time, the symptoms improve on their own, but during the summer, the bleeding and sometimes the pain return. Then, after resting for a while, the symptoms improve again. I have used lidocaine cream, which provides temporary relief. However, every 2–3 months, the bleeding or pain starts again and usually lasts for 15–20 days before improving.
