Talk to Colorectal Surgeon on Constipation & Lump Near Anus

I’ve noticed a small lump near my anus for the past 3–4 months. Whenever I pass stool, something comes out and then goes back in on its own after a while.

I don’t have any pain, bleeding, or discomfort while sitting or walking. I do get constipated quite often, and sometimes after straining, the area feels a bit swollen. I also have a habit of sitting on the toilet for a long time while using my phone.

I’m not sure if this is piles or something else.

Also, please suggest a safe stool softener for constipation. I feel a bit embarrassed discussing this with my family.
