Talk to Colorectal Surgeon on Lump Near Anus

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 22 years old, Lahore

I have a lump outside my anus for the past few weeks. It’s not bleeding, painful, or causing any discomfort while sitting or during bowel movements. I’m just worried it might cause a serious problem in the future. I recently consulted a general surgeon through Marham. She said it’s piles and recommended surgery, but it’s not an emergency. I’m a bit confused and, to be honest, I don’t want surgery. Is there any medicine or cream that can treat it? I’m not even sure if it’s piles, an anal fissure, or just a skin tag.
