It was in last October (2020) when Covid-19 landed in my house and infected my wife, son ànd daughter. I was so lucky that I came into contact with Dr Rashid Dawoodpota through another doctor. Unbelievably his secretary passed on his personal phone number to me and to my surprise Dr Rashid picked up my phone at 12 in the night. It was the most difficult time of my life looking after three patients with no medical advice around. Dr Rashid entered In this situation as an Angel. My wife's lungs were severely affected and both kids were in high grade fever but this Angel attended them over phone for next 20 days and nights. I cannot write my gratitude for this young human soul in my words. Now I can tell people that I met an angel. May Allah give him long life and courage to serve humanity in these difficult times. Dr Rashid is a young hardworking pulmonologist. He was the consultant managing my Mom’s covid case at South City in June 2020. He was always up to date with the latest research. His updates used to be brief and to the point. Sometimes especially when the update was not that good, one would expect to have a longer conversation. This isnt the case with him. However, He used to try answer all the questions. It was the first covid peak in Karachi and situation at all the hospitals was chaotic. He was handling a large number of patients, that could explain the shorter discussions. He was quick and decisive in taking actions. Overall i m satisfied with him.
