Specimen Nature: BIOPSY Specimen Site: CECAL MASS History: Constipation, weight loss. GROSS: Specimen container is labeled with the patient's name and medical record number and unmarked for site. Received in formalin are eleven mucosal tissue fragments collectively measuring 10 x 9 x 3 mm. Entire specimen is submitted in single block. (Gross assisted by: Muhammad Imran).

MICRO: Sections show colonic mucosa with tubular and villous arrangement of glands. Glandular lining shows focal high grade dysplasia with full thickness nuclear stratification and pleomorphism. IMMUNO/HISTOCHEMICAL STAIN(S): CDX2: Positive CK20. Patchy positive
