Assalam-o-Alaikum Doctor, I am writing to request a consultation for my 12-year-old brother (turning 13 next month). His behavior has become extremely concerning and we need professional help and guidance whether the problem can be resolved by online consultation or we might need proper physical examination ? Current Issues: · Game Addiction: Obsessed with Free Fire. Plays all day and refuses to study or do anything else. · Severe Aggression: Becomes physically violent when asked to stop playing or give back the phone. · Threats: Has threatened to hurt family members if we try to take the game away. · Abusive Behavior: Hits his younger sister, yells at our mother, and has physically pushed/hit her when she tries to take the phone back. · Education: Has completely stopped studying and refuses to attend school. Background: He plays on our mother's phone and refuses to return it. Our mother is scared of him and doesn't know what to do. We have tried limiting screen time, but he reacts with extreme anger and violence. Standard parental controls don't work. Please advise on the next steps for consultation. We are very worried.
