I had cavity in my tooth (right posterior region) characterized with severe pain for 5-6 days continuously. But, it started fading away slowly. I approached the dentist who asked me to have an X-ray. Sir, what if it is delayed? I was prescribed three medicines: Vibramycin (capsules), Flagyl and Cyclofen (which has now been replaced with Froben) which I took regularly as instructed. I still take these 3 medicines whenever I feel some pain (as the doctor told me to do so). But what if I delay the treatment? Will the infection worsen somehow?
