Asking for Self, Female, 33 years old, Karachi
I have 3 teeth missing. 2nd premolar and 1st and 2nd molars(all Adjacent teeth on upper right side) can i get 2 or 3 teeth (bridge) with just one implant? Or i have to do separate implants for each teeth?
You will require to 2 implants which support a three unit bridge to replace your teeth.
Single implant to replace 3 teeth is not possible nor advisable..
The scenario that you have defined requires atleast two implants to support a three unit bridge but Clinical examination and evaluation is mandatory so please go to your nearest Marham certified implant specialist and get yourself expert advice.
In your case, since you are missing three adjacent teeth, the 2nd premolar, and 1st and 2nd molars ideally, we need one implant per missing tooth.
That is because there are certain biomechanical and positional rules in implant dentistry that we say are the key implant positions, which we cannot violate. Regards!
