Asking for Self, Female, 22 years old, karachi
im a 22 yrs old female. theres a gap between my left canine tooth and i have started to notice that it's happening to my right canine as well. i dont like it at all, because i cant smile properly and am always concious. I have been to two dentists for braces but both said that i dont need them and they seemed adamant on that. but i want to get my gaps fixed. can anybody tell me what to do im very worried. should i get braces? or are there any other options?

There are other options like Composite build ups or Veneering and that should make your teeth look all natural and aesthetically beautiful. This should be done by a dentist who has a good experience of aesthetics restorations. But before that see an orthodontist if they can manage to close the gap and align the teeth without any need for the above mentioned options.

Dear patient, please book an appointment with an orthodontist because in the first picture I could see your lower ones also has gaps . We need to adjust your bite and occlusion to close the gaps through orthodontic treatment that includes either fixed braces or removable clear aligners . Otherwise if the upper gaps are closed thorough other means they might develop again .
