The cause of having black triangles is due to progressive bone loss between the teeth. Interdental papilla regeneration is the most unpredictable treatment.
Accumulation of calculus is the most damaging thing that eats up the underlying bone. Therefore, what I would advise you is to keep yourself on a regular follow-up for scaling every 2 months initially. Later, seeing your hygiene and periodontal health, your doctor will guide your interappointment timing.
