Salam Dr I get crown on infected tooth 12 years ago Without root canal now Dr did x-ray they said infection is severe if we do rct we have to remove crown maybe tooth also fall , that tooth backside gum swellon and painful now If we remove crown and do rct how long after rct we can get crown ? How many days it takes infection gone completely after rct ? I am going out of country after 15 days Soo I want that treatment before going

visit dentist to solve the problem and to get proper treatment..
u have to do rct first n get crown after 3 or 4 days.u also done ur antibiotic course infection in gone during antibiotic course almost 7 days

root canal is usually done in 2-3 appointments depending upon how severe the infection is... healing time is also around 2 weeks.
if you go for extraction then it'll resolve your pain and it's single visit procedure but will leave you with an empty space, which later you can have a fixed bridge or a single implant depending upon your choice. but don't leave an empty space for too long as space will be closed by drifting of teeth.
better to go for rct and again crown

Yes crown should be removed before rct and it has a risk of damging the tooth too.
It takes 10 to 15 days to recover from a dental infection. Tell this to your doctor that you have to go abroad so that he/she gove you best treatment option according to ur situation.
