My wife is having a jaw pain .. I consulted Dentist but he just gave pain killers and said this pain is not related to dental issue it's a jaw pain . which doctor should I consult

Get an OPG and visit a dentist who can read and let you know what and where the problem lies. Mostly it’s either due to TMJ or some undermine dental issue. If tmj consult any prosthodontist who will design splint or if its dental general dentist will resolve it

Need an advice from Oral Maxillofacial surgeon as well as OPg needed in your case . if it related to jaw . then ask your wife not to bite on hard things + dont yell or laugh loudly + try to avoid open her mouth widely + stay on soft diet + do some jaw exercises but these all should be done after a proper identification (diagnosis) of the problem then can treat it accordingly.
