I made the mistake of prying food residue out with a plastic toothpick and in the process came in contact with root ever since my lymph node under the jaw is swollen, I have had a root canal but it is still swollen. antibiotics should be the last resort.

I was under the impression that lymph node swelling will subside after root canal but its been a week since root canal but still swelling is there. Your help in this regard shall be highly appreciated.
