mouth wash is safe but it won't suppress pain, better to visit dentist as emergency treatment can be done during pregnancy.

need to consult dentist for proper check-up

Usually 2nd trimester is considered safe to go fr any dental treatment but still ...she should maintain a healthy oral hygiene, rinsing with mouthwash is completely safe beside that she can also take salt water rinse twice or thrice daily regular brushing and flossing is necessary tell her to avoid carbonated drinks avoid spicy food and drinks and food which increases sensitivity...also visit a nearby dentist in case of severe pain as 2nd trimester is safe for dental procedures. Her dentist can guide her and provide her better solution with proper treatment and medications ....jazakaAllah :)
