Hi. I have plaque deposits on my teeth and when i try to use the brush there to clean it, my gums bleed and the plaque doesn't go away either. The bleeding is minimum and stops almost immediately after i wash my mouth with water. Please suggest what should be my course of action. Also, does flossing helps?

also stack up on vitamin C, for you to continue at home brush twice daily along with regular use of a good mouthwash. Also consider doing oil pulling with coconut oil especially at bed time
See plaque is a layer on your teeth which you can feel every morning.. you brush and it goes away , but if you are unable to clean it properly it becomes hard yellow or green over the period of time which even of you try to remove yourself you wont be able too..and that is a constant irritant to your gums making them bleed on brushing or even cause bad breath.. now flossing wont help.. you need to get scaling done followed by oral hygiene maintainance

Its depends on your brushing techniques some times most of the people used aggresive brushing which causes bleeding gums and which stops immediatly after rinses with water. Most of the times these plaque layer become hard and formed a deposition which couldnt be removed from normal brushing . You also asked about flossing yes it definetly helps.
In my opinion you need to consult to your dentist for examination of your teeth and gum conditions.
