Hi, i am 21+weeks pregnant. I am having severe pain in my tooth. I have asked dentist, she prescribed me synflex tab. Can i take it? Is it safe?
Yes you can. Rinse with enziclor Mouthwash every 4hourly and visit dentist to get your tooth treated. 2nd and 3rd trimester is safezone

Normally only panadol is prescribed during pregnancy. but if pain is severe and panadol doesnot relieve the pain then you can can take synflex if you donot have any blood pressure issue plus if you have asked your gynaecologist. but you must visit any good dentist As soon as possible. because you cannot take painkillers all the time. most of the procedures in dentistry are safe if done with consultation with gynaecologist and proper pregnancy protocols.

You should take Paracetamol as it is one of the few painkillers which are safe to use during pregnancy. in your case treatment is better option then taking pain killers that is not safe in pregnancy kindly visit the dentist in single visit your pain will gone dont worry and then you can continue your treatment after pregnancy

I have checked with dentist before lockdown and pregnancy and he says my teeth need filling. Due to lockdown, i didn't go with this. i will visit the doctor. Can i go for the treatment now? I am based in Lahore.
Ask your gynecologist if it is safe or not. They usually allow paracetamol only.
