Gynecologist and dentist help, i am 7 weeks pregnant and my root canal procedure is going on for 6 months so its almost finish but the dentist asked me to come again for last checkup if my infection totally get finished then they will put a crown. Now, when i asked my gynecologist, she said its better to avoid for one month but the dentist said to get it done otherwise infection can come again. Now what to do? And my other sider where there is no root canal treatment, started to pain, the muscles, and that side throat, now i dont know if its related to my treatment going on as i am chewing and eating from one side only. Need help urgently
Meet a root canal specialist for this matter . It’s called Endodontist
As long the root canal is completed and the tooth is fillled with a material , then we almost wait for a month for the crown… Their may not be any infection , but the tooth might break if heavy food is eaten … so take precautionary measures: Avoid eating hard food from that treated tooth and wait for the delivery then get the crown … so probably you have to wait for almost three months from today .. Hope every thing is clear now .. Take care

Yes its been a month since root canal treatment but the dentist said to come for one more visit for xray as there was still some infection so she said to recheck, but will that xray be ok for my baby? Secondly, does the crown not be harmful ?

Xray cannot be done until your 7 months are completed.
