Asking For Husband, Male 34, Lahore
Aoa My husband is experiencing severe tooth ache and swelling in my gums and cheeks since 2 days. He is taking augmentin 500mg twice a day. Flagyl twice a day. Oblonec(diclofenac sodium) twice a day. The pain killer doesn't seem to be working. He took additional panadol last night and had some pain free time. Before that another dentist prescribed cefiget, flygyl, myteka, vernon tab but they had no effect and his cheeks started swelling fast so the dentist told him that these medicine does not suit him. Please guide what to do for pain.
most probably he needs root canal treatment or extraction. better visit some dentist for proper treatment
he would need to be evaluated for the umderlaying cause of swelling. if he is non hypertensive flurbiprofin can be used for relieving his symptoms.
