X ray ( Periapical ) Karwae usse pta chal jaega k apka root canal treatment hoa hai ya nhi .agr nhi Tu possibly root canal karwana parh jae or agr hoa wa hai already to chances hai k reinfection ho gya hai ya apk previous Dr ne root canal treatment Sahi nhi kia .dono conditions mei apko X ray ki zarorat hogi. so you need to visit a good dental clinic and get your x-ray done first.

how old is your crown ..get tooth x-ray done seems like you need root canal treatment .visit your nearby dentist .
how long its been your crown has placed? was it placed after root canal treatment? an xray has to be done before ruling it out, kindly avoid taking medicines on your own, and get a complete checkup done by dentist
its better to contact the same person who treated you for this tooth, as he must be having the proceeding record. and if he's not traceable, go to nearby dental surgeon, he knows very well what to do!

visit dentist as soon u can and get the crown removed and this tooth requires Root canal procedure under a good antibiotic coverage. in the mean time avoid eating hard food, reduce sugar intake brush after every meal and do warm sponge application.
