Hello, if it's causing pain and swelling then get an RCT (root canal treatment) done asap. because delaying it will progress the infection and you will not be able to save the tooth.
after RCT get crowns that will be more appropriate.

Visit a dental doctor - root canal most probably ! Swelling hai it means infection hai
Simple crown isn’t suitable , you have to go for root canal therapy and then crown !
