Hope you are doing well.. The answers to your questions are:
1. With aging yest your teeth are more prone to absorbing chemicals and food coloring agents from the things you intake.. Frequency and oral habits matter
2. With regular 2x brushing with a fluoridated (more better hyroxyapatite containing) toothpaste with proper brushing technique, along with occasional use of mouthwash and regular flossing are more than enough to keep you teeth health in check.. Remember to spit not rinse when you are done brushing
If teeth get brittle there can be an underlying systemic problem or your increased chemical ingestion that requires evaluation and control. Also if you are experiencing tooth fractures than after evaluation certain treatment procedures can be advised
Scaling without the need does cause damage at micro levels but if you have calculus and stains than definitely you need scaling because then you'd be doing more harm than good to your teeth.. (it is fine to get scaling with Polishing done once a year if your oral cavity is prone to harboring more plaque and calculus)
You don't take milk.. I don't know in what context have you written it.. Probably you know the importance of it that's why you have mentioned it.. Better get your labs done for calcium or vitamin defiency and take supplements accordingly after consulting from a Physician because our body has needs.. If you are fulfilling those needs than surely you are at risk of alot many things..

there is reason for brittleness of teeth, which need to be evaluate first
if your teeth have lots of tartar attached to them, by removing tartar teeth gets slight loose, but it is beneficial to get it removed as tartar eats your gums and bone associated with teeth

Different clinics offer you different cost of scaling.. A good clinic where new sterilized tips for scaling are used and proper Polishing protocol is followed will cost you from 5k to 10k or some even more.. Teaching hospitals cost less because you are not getting it done from a professional.. Scaling cost at Dr. Obaid & Associates Dental Practice will cost you 7k (This is where I work)..
