I've been experiencing sensitivity in my teeth whenever I eat something cold. Could anyone please advise on what steps I should take or if I need to come in for a check-up

It needs clinical evaluation, most probably its either cavity in your tooth or either simple sensitivity. Do you have any stomach issues?

Aoa. It’s always better to visit nearby dentist for the solution of any dental issue. Till then you can have any desensitising mouth wash like Prodent mouth wash to rinse with according to the direction given on product. Contact MARHAM for further details.
Tooth sensitivity is mostly due to wear and tear of outer part of tooth which in turn exposes the inner sensitive dentine . Sometimes a cavity or underlying gum condition can cause an infection that makes the tooth nerves sensitive to hot and cold temperatures . If you have tooth sensitivity you should consult a dentist to evaluate and diagnose the cause and do treatment
