Talk to Dentist on Tell Me Root Canal Or Filling

I done filling in molar teeth 1.5 years ago, now i fell little sensitivity in between first molar and 2nd molar teeth, today i done xray of teeth and find out infection in 2nd molar, Suggest me what to do, go for filling or root canal, i don't feel pain and hot/cold but little sensitivity when drink very cold water, but sensitivity goes away in 2 to 3 seconds. Thanks

2nd molar is also affected now having a cavity so that needs a treatment by root canal treatment because cavity is touching the pulp and if you get no pain even the best treatment for it is root canal treatment not mere filling

I know its affected, its because after first filling, the filling is high. i go to the other dentist to trim it off a little, but he is blind and trimmed my second molar. After that the food stuck in between teeth. I go to my first doctor but she said all is ok just use dental floss. Now One week ago i feel something chipped off from those teeth that why i go for xray

I think the first filling is fine, now the culprit is 2nd molar, so need your advice for 2nd molar. Right now i feel nothing, no pain, no hot and cold sensitivity even cold chilled water. After chipping first 2 days i feel little sensitive to cold chilled water but right now nothing.
