I m having pain in a tooth. Strange type of pain, sometimes itching, irritating like pain. Want to pluck out my tooth. I went to a dentist. He examined and checked X-ray, but he said tooth is alright. And all the adjacent and opposing teeth were okay. But he could not make a diagnosis and put me on pain killers, which did not benefit me. What's the problem?

sometimes the issue is not in the tooth but im the gums. your nature of pain seems to be of gums. seems to be gingivitis. do you have bleeding gums? stomach issues?have you been on Any recent medication?
Kindly recheck with another dentist n do OPG xray . If not tooth ache then one can look for lession
