this gel is for fungal infection not for lichen planus you should consult oral pathologist for proper evaluation and guidelines regarding your condition.self medication is harmful i will not recommend it.
it is probably oral submucus fibrosis. visit maxilofacial surgeon immediately or any teaching hospital. quit tobacco asap
it's Treatment is long term . Apply topical Corticosteroids and avoid spicy foods Don't use any Mouthwash. if it is not recoverd within 3 months , then go for Biopsy. use iron supplements.
It would be better if you attach pictures if possible and consult a dentist before using medications
use kenalog gel for that if u have already consulted some specialist and lichen planus is true diagnosis.. otherwise consult good dentist for that

You should need a better advice .. Visit your nearest dentist for your disease so that can be rule out earlier.
Better to visit oromaxillofacial surgeon .and attach some pictures also without proper history and evaluation we cannot confirm your treatment.
Lichen plan us need to be evaluated and confirmed through biopsy. But currently if the symptoms like burning are there you can take Kenalog ora base cream, tablet batnesol for rinses,
