Im using atenolol 25 mg for 7 months for blood pressure and high pulse blood pressure is in normal range. I also do regular walk Also using some nasal spray from past 2 months flonase & mometasone furoate Today i check my fasting blood sugar is 110 This give me so much anxiety i cant express here I dont know what is happening with me My height is 5.10 weight is 85 I have no past history of blood sugar or any other problem
I have also a severe health anxiety issue.

check again both fasting and random and get your HbA1c level test done
Dont get worried, atenolol can cause this problem sometime , and get yourHba1c done

Maybe im wrong but i think this beta-blocker slightly increase my blood sugar before using atenolol 25 mg my blood sugar was always is 85 or 90

Atenolol has nothing to do with blood sugar levels...

Get your HbA1c done. For now keep taking BP medicine. As far as your anxiety is concerned it need detail evaluation. For this take online appointment with me and Inshallah you will feel much better .

110 is not high blood sugar..its just upper limit ..msingle reading is not diagnostic of diabetes.
u should check fasting sugar levels again for 2,3 days.
bcuz u are using steroids mometasone ,its common side effect is raised blood sugar.
but it would be confirmed only after u have consecutive impaired readings.

bilkul device error b ho skta h...fasting range mein 70 to 110 is normal...aur khany khaya hua ho to up to 140 is normal.

No need to worry just take penalty of water and walk daily in morning and night after dinner.
Avoid rice oily and junks food and and go for HBA1c test.
dnt get panic .you are just 21 year old ,at this age Bp not occured unless you have any ither cause. so if can be due to stress and lazy routine. adopt healthy life style and focus on your mental healt . you will be fine ..

your FBS is not very high, just avoid eating extra sugar
for high pulse Tab. Inderol is better option than atenolol, this will also help for your anxiety issues

Previous maam im on inderal but that inderal didnt control bp and also because of inderal short half life switch to atenolol and now from 2 weeks im on nebivolol 2.5 dr said nebivolol is far better than atenolol
