Hi, I got my cholesterol tested today and result is 192. In December it was 147. I walk 5-6 km daily and I want to control it naturally. What should I do?

Dietary and lifestyle modification is important. If you have family history of high cholesterol level then you will have to take cholesterol lowering medicine if diet and walk is not working.

Ok that's very pleasant to hear about your daily walk habit. Cholesterol at 192 mg/dl is still in desirable range, we should be more concerned about triglyceride levels which are higher than upper normal limits. Don't worry at all ,all of this can be achieved with a proper controlled diet. Replace canola oil & Soya bean oil from your diet with Olive Oil. Avoid beef and its products. Avoid butter and other fatty products. With strict compliance you can control it within 04 months. Thank you.
