Talk to General Practitioner on Dengue/ Low Platelets

For a past few days i was having on n off fever for 101-102. Eventually got tested and found dengue positive . The platelets are decreasing very fast Monday i tested and was 150 and on Wednesday it went to 117 . Can anyone help me out what should i do what kind of medicine should i take

For fever and bodyaches take panadol 2 tablets 6 hrs apart. You can also add cool pads in underarms and on forehead. Take lots of fluids, juices, healthy soups and ORS. Repeat CBC every alternate day and keep a check on platelets. Usually nothing is done except observation and hydration for decreasing platelets until they hit 50,000 or lesser, then you consult a doctor they might admit you. Look out for any sources of bleeding e.g. from nose or mouth or any bruises or your skin. Pls share your report for positive dengue. Do you have any other symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea or abdominal pain?

Have dairieha . When i see food i dont feel like having anything there is some kind of suffocation . Only on a liquid diet. No form for blood leak or any bruising

for every loose stool take 200 ml of ORS. Its alright consume soft diet like yoghurt, bananas and soups. It should settle in a few days.

kindly clearly msg pattern of fever and start taking tab panadol 2 tablets after every six hours and what about any sort of nose bleeding or gum bleeding?
