I have mistakenly taken an overdose of insulin. I use novomax 30 thrice a day; 18 in morning, 14 lunch and 18 units for dinner. Mistakenly today at dinner I have taken 42 units and now feeling dizzy. What precautions should I take to pass the night in peace?
Keep taking juices
and checking BSR. If BSR doesn't improve go to Emergency
take juices frequently ask someone to be at ur bedside and check ur sugars 2 hourly if remain normal for next 12 hours good to go avoid this thing next time please

Check your sugar level and accordingly Eat something sweet right away. And be careful next time with your dosage

Please make sure to check sugar 3 times a day for next 2 days and to keep sugar or a juice or limopani or roohafza close to where you are sitting or working.
have someone sleep next to you so they can feel if you r weak or sweating at night and help.
do not do any exercise for next 2 days.
If sugar is below 60mg, take half glass juice or 3 teaspoons sugar
Novomix has NPH insulin which can last for more than 16 hours in the system, depending on kidney function.
Keep taking juices and something sweet. If it falls more than 60mg/dl on glucometer, start taking more juices and if you’re unable to, go to the hospital for drip.
