Talk to Geneticist on Is Developmental Dysplasia Of Hip (DDH) Inheritable?

I want to ask about inheritance of DDH. My wife has is Alhamdulilah healthy. However, her sister has DDH possibly due to breech delivery. There is no other family history of DDH. My sister-in-law was operated 2 times in her infancy but there was no success. She can't walk properly because of shorter right leg. I want to ask that is there any chance of my children getting affected. Scientifically is there any risk of inheritance. Please give honest opinion.
