Talk to Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Specialist on Pain In Thigh And Shin Muscles

Asking For Self, Male 23, Toba Tek Singh

Whenever I play cricket—either while bowling or running—I experience intense pain in my legs immediately afterward. My thigh muscles feel extremely tight and exhausted, almost like they’ve cramped up, making it very difficult to move. I also get severe pain in my left leg, around 2–3 inches above the ankle along the shin. It becomes so painful that I can’t put any weight on that leg, and even touching or pressing that area triggers sharp pain. The pain usually lasts for about half an hour, after which it subsides and I can walk normally again. However, as soon as I engage in physical activity, the pain returns, and it seems to be getting worse each time.

This seems like muscle overuse or possible shin splints due to repetitive strain while playing cricket. Its a treatable condition with proper evaluation, physiotherapy, and activity modification. I have managed many similar sports injury cases successfully. You can book a consultation so I can assess and guide you toward complete recovery
