My sister is suffering from severe pain in her left lower 3rd molar associated with swelling in the gum and around the cheeks. There's a difficulty in chewing and in opening mouth. She lives abroad. Kindly inform me about the possible solutions that she can do in order to get relief from it.

This is most likely due to pericoronitis around wisdom tooth
start warm saline rinses 3 to 4 times daily
and mouth wash that has chlorhexidine like enziclour rinses 3 times daily
Take over the counter pain killer like ibuprofen
and get it checked ASAP

tab nuberol duo take during pain , advice warm saline gargles twice a day..
Ask her to visit dentist as soon as possible

She will need to use Chlorhexidine mouthwash if it is available over the counter, if not then use warm salt water rinses, take ibuprofen 400mg 2-3 times a day for 3 -5 days depending on if she feels better and Amoxicillin 500mg twice a day for 3-5 days if she can get it over the counter

For temporary relief, she can rinse with warm saltwater, take painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen, use a cold compress, and eat soft foods. She should avoid pressing the swelling or taking antibiotics without advice.
