Asking for Self, Male, 39 years old, Lahore
AOA, I recently got vaccinated for rabies. I got two boosters shots after a cat bite. Unfortunately the nursing staff who administered the vaccine used 1cc insulin syringe to inject the doze in the deltoid muscle. I am worried that the vaccine may not have reached the muscle it self and must have accumulated on the fat pad on top of it as the needle on such syringes is mostly .3 inches long. Can some one please advise whether I need to get vaccinated again or will this vaccine produce adiquite amount of antibodies to neutrize the rabies virus ?
Kind regards.
