About Byvas Tablet

Byvas Tablet uses include the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels. No, you should never stop taking Byvas suddenly, especially if you have heart disease. Abrupt discontinuation can cause serious problems including chest pain, heart attack, or dangerous increases in blood pressure. Always work with your doctor to gradually reduce the dose over 1-2 weeks.
Byvas is less likely to cause weight gain compared to older beta-blockers. However, some patients may experience slight weight gain due to fluid retention. If you notice significant weight gain or swelling, contact your doctor as this may indicate fluid retention.
Byvas can be used in diabetic patients but with caution. Beta-blockers may mask the symptoms of low blood sugar (such as rapid heartbeat). Diabetic patients should monitor their blood sugar levels more frequently while taking Byvas and inform their doctor about their diabetes.
