Duragesic Tablet uses include relief of muscle pain, spasms, and inflammation associated with arthritis, sprains, strains, and tension headaches. This muscle relaxant combination contains Paracetamol 450 mg (analgesic and antipyretic) and Orphenadrine Citrate 35 mg (central muscle relaxant). Paracetamol reduces pain and fever while Orphenadrine acts on the central nervous system to relieve muscle stiffness and improve mobility.

Duragesic Tablet is commonly used for:

- Spasms associated with arthritis, sprains, and strains

- Dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual periods)

Duragesic Tablet Dosage and Administration
Always use this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor:
Adult Dosage:
- 1-2 tablets 2-3 times daily as prescribed (maximum 6 tablets/day).
- Individualized based on pain severity and muscle spasm response.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
Children Dosage:
- Not recommended under 12 years.
- Adolescents (12-18 years): Only under specialist supervision.
How to Take:
- Swallow whole with water, preferably with food to reduce stomach upset.
- May be taken with or without food.
- Do not chew, crush, or break tablets.
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible unless it is close to the next dose.
Do not double up.

Do not use Duragesic Tablet if you:
- Are allergic to paracetamol, orphenadrine, or any other ingredients
- Have glaucoma (acute narrow-angle)
- Have myasthenia gravis

- Are taking MAO inhibitors (within last 14 days)
