About Neogab Capsule

Neogab Capsule uses include treating neuropathic pain, epilepsy, and restless legs syndrome. It contains Gabapentin, an anticonvulsant that works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain and affecting the way nerves send pain signals.

Neogab Capsule Dosage and Administration

Always follow your doctor's instructions exactly.

Adult Dosage:

  • For neuropathic pain: Starting dose 300mg once daily on day 1, then 300mg twice daily on day 2, then 300mg three times daily on day 3.

  • For seizures: 300mg three times daily; may increase up to 600mg three times daily (max 3600mg/day).

Children's Dosage:

  • Neogab is not recommended for children under 18 years of age for nerve pain.

  • For epilepsy in children over 12 years: As directed by the doctor.

How to Take:

  • Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

  • Can be taken with or without food.

  • Take at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day.

  • Do not crush, chew, or break the capsule.

Don't use Neogab Capsule if you:

  • Are allergic to Gabapentin or any of its ingredients

  • Have severe kidney disease without dose adjustment

  • Have myasthenia gravis
