I visited for a general mental health checkup and honestly, the experience exceeded every expectation I had going in. Being a bit nervous on how would this experience turnout, as soon as I sat had the initial discussion with Dr Ramish, I knew she was the right person for this which I think made a real difference in how openly I was able to talk. I guess she is everything you'd hope for in a psychologist, for me I wanted a psychologist who was extremely attentive, non-judgmental, and genuinely thoughtful in her responses. She didn't just listen; she actually heard me for the most part. The best thing was that not at any part during the conversation did I think that she's trying to avoid or get rid of me. I left the session feeling motivated and clear-headed. It felt less like a clinical appointment and more like a productive, refreshing conversation with a friend….I'd especially recommend her to anyone looking to invest in their general mental wellbeing, even if you're not going through anything specific. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from a session with her and that, I think, is the mark of a truly great psychologist.
