Asalaam o alaikum Psychiatrist ya clinical psychologist may kia difference hai aur kon sa kis waqt faidaymand hy
Psychologist therapy or counselling deta hai Aur psychiatrist mbbs doctor hota hai wo medications ky through treat krta hai
Wa Alaikum Assalam.
Psychiatrist aur Clinical Psychologist dono zehni sehat (mental health) ke experts hote hain, lekin unka kaam mukhtalif hota hai.
Psychiatrist:
* MBBS ke baad Psychiatry mein specialization karta hai.
* Mental illness ki tashkhees (diagnosis) karta hai.
* Zarurat par medicines prescribe karta hai.
* Agar depression, anxiety, psychosis, bipolar disorder ya neend ke masail bohat shadeed hon, to psychiatrist se rabta kiya jata hai.
Clinical Psychologist:
* Psychological assessment aur therapy karta hai.
* Medicines prescribe nahi karta.
* Counseling aur therapies (jaise CBT) ke zariye stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues aur behavioral problems par kaam karta hai.
Kis waqt kis ke paas jana chahiye?
* Agar symptoms zyada shadeed hon, hallucinations, bohat zyada depression, panic attacks ya medicines ki zarurat mehsoos ho, to Psychiatrist ke paas jana behtar hota hai.
* Agar stress, anxiety, emotional issues, relationship problems ya apni soch aur behavior ko behtar banana ho, to Clinical Psychologist se therapy lena munasib hota hai.
Aksar dono mil kar kaam karte hain. Agar zarurat ho to psychiatrist medicines deta hai aur clinical psychologist therapy karta hai. Is tarah patient ko behtareen treatment milta hai.

Wa Alaikum Assalam. Bohat hi ahem sawal hai. Zehni sehat (Mental Health) ke mamlaat mein Psychiatrist aur Clinical Psychologist dono mil kar kaam karte hain, lekin unka tarika-e-ilaj bilkul mukhtalif hota hai:
? 1. Psychiatrist (Medical Doctor):
• Yeh MBBS ke baad Psychiatry mein specialization (FCPS/MD) karte hain.
• Yeh zehni bimarion ki medical tashkhees (diagnosis) karte hain aur brain chemistry ko balance karne ke liye MEDICINES prescribe karte hain.
• Agar symptoms bohat zyada shadeed hon (jaise neend ka bilkul na aana, hallucinations, ya severe bipolar/psychosis), toh pehle Psychiatrist se rabta kiya jata hai.
? 2. Clinical Psychologist (Therapist / Counselor):
• Yeh Psychology mein Masters, MS, ya PhD hold karte hain.
• Yeh bimarion ka ilaj bina kisi dawai (No Medicines) ke, scientific THERAPIES aur counseling (jaise CBT) ke zariye karte hain.
• Agar aap stress, anxiety, overthinking, career burnout, ya relationship problems se guzar rahe hain aur apni soch aur behavior ko behtar banana chahte hain, toh Psychologist ki zariye therapy lena sab se behtareen hal hai.
? Behtareen Nateeja:
Aksar auqat dono mil kar kaam karte hain—Psychiatrist dawai se chemical balance theek karta hai aur Psychologist therapy se zehni sakoon aur coping mechanisms sikhata hai.
Aap kis qism ke symptoms face kar rahe hain? Agar aap stress ya anxiety se nikalne ke liye online therapy session book karna chahte hain, toh aap meri profile par ja kar confidential digital consultation le sakte hain.

Psychiatrist- prescribe medicine only whereas psychologist treat through therapy… medicine ki zrurt prti ha jb client k symptoms severe hoon kuch smjhny r sun’ny k phase me na ho
psychiatrist doctor hotay hain jo mental health issues ke liye medicine dety hain, and clinical psychologist therapy ke zariye thoughts, emotions aur behaviours par kaam karte hain.
Agar kisi ko bohat zyada depression, suicidal thoughts, extreme anxiety, hallucinations, ya mood bohat zyada unstable ho to psychiatrist ko check krwana zrori hy.
Agar stress, anxiety, past trauma, relationship problems, confidence issues ya emotional struggles hain to clinical psychologist se therapy help karti hai.
Kuch logon ko dono ki zaroorat hoti hai. symptoms aur severity dekh kar professional guide karty hein ke kis se consult karna chahiye.
They are both professionals joh mental health sa deal krty hain. One relies on therapy while other on medication
W.slm Psychiatrist medicines k zarye help krte hain and clinical psychologist therapy and counseling k zarye. Health conditions k hisab se guide kia jasakta hy kon apk lye helpful rehega.
Wa alaikum assalam a psychiatrist is mbbs who specialise in psychology and treat patients through drugs while a clinical psychologist is simply graduated or having masters degrees in the clinical psychology and treat patients through therapeutic interventions both have their own specialised domains so depends what you wanna opt bụt clinical psychologist is better choice I guess
Psychologist thoughts changing par kam karta hai jb k psychiatrist medicine k help sy kaam karta or dono ke faida mand hai phly ap psychiatrist ko visit karty ho then ap therapy ke tarf jaty ho
W.Salam i hope you are doing well, and thank you for your thoughtful question, A Psychiatrist is a medical doctor who diagnoses mental health conditions, prescribes medications, and manages biological aspects of treatment.
A Clinical Psychologist specializes in psychological assessment and evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT) to address emotional, behavioral, and cognitive difficulties.
The choice depends on the individual’s symptoms. In many cases, the best outcomes are achieved through a collaborative approach involving both professionals. Consultant Clinical Psychologist Afsheen Khan?
Ws. Severe disorders k liye medicine ki zarurt hoti hai. Jo psychiatrist dete hen… jab k psychologist therapy pr counselling k zariye elag krte hen.
I hope you are fine inshAllah, psychologists only give therapy and counselling.. psychiatrist gives medican for severe disorder
Psychiatrist prescribed medicine and qualifications of psychiatrists must be MBBS. Whereas Psychologist are unauthorized to prescribe medicine and do therapy with different techniques and their qualification can be BS, MS and PhD.
If the problem is severe and need medication then psychiatrist and if you don’t want to take medication then consult with psychologist. On same side if psychologist do assessment and thinks you need medication first he/she will refer you to psychiatrist

Walaikum assalam! Clinical psychologist clients ka treatments by therapy krtay hain aur psychiatrist mental health problems ka treatment by medication krtay hain, jab problem severe ho like severe depression, psychotic problems mein pehlay medication Hoti then therapy.

psychiatrist ya trauma-informed psychologist jo family conflicts dynamics ki samjh n rakhty ho kisay find kero?
W.salam......Psychiatrist: A medical doctor who can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe medicines.
Psychologist: Focuses mainly on therapy/counselling and helping with thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Usually doesn’t prescribe medicine.
Which is more beneficial? It depends on the problem.
For anxiety, stress, relationship issues, or mild depression → Psychologist/therapy can be very helpful.
For severe depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, or symptoms needing medication → Psychiatrist is usually more appropriate.
Sometimes, both together give the best results.
