Asking For Mother, Female 48, Rahim yar khan
my mother has a lot of pain in her right knee. I already consulted 3 orthopedic surgeons but there were no significant improvements even though it's getting worse. MRI and a few important test reports attached. please recommend me what I should do now. the pain is a lot and she can't bend her knee properly.
there is pcl injury and medial meniscal injury may need pcl repair and menisectomy arthroscopically. get her examined by arthroscopic surgeon nearby.
According to this there is Anterior cruciate ligament inj of right knee which needs arthroscopic surgery. But clinical examination needed before to proceed for surgery as MRI knee has high false positive rate. There can be only degenerative changes in knee which can be causing pain.Contact 042-32591427, for appointment

wait for her pain to settle down, use anti inflammatory medications, icing/hot fomentation whichever helps with pain, avoid squatting, sitting on the ground, stair/ramp climbing, asian toilet, once the pain is settled get her checked for detailed knee examination, its difficult to tell which one is the actual culprit causing pain, also quads strengthening exercises help a lot in the long run.. MRI findings alone can oftentimes mislead you.. but clinical exam supported by MRI is another story.
PL send x-rays both knee AP view and lateral view۔skylinee view
Get her Xrays of Knee joint 2 views while standing. Meanwhile use painkiller medications, icing, avoid squatting; and use commode and chair to sit.
Needs arthroscopy
