AoA!I am a medical student of Endotech! 10 days ago my uncle got injured due to machine falling. An x-ray is immediately done but according to the doctor no fracture is visible in the x-ray. As I am a bit confused about the x-ray. As Swelling and pain do not get better with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. What should he do now?

There is no fracture on X-ray. It’s a soy tissue injury. I would advise to place two pillows underneath and elevate his leg, apply ice pack every hour for 5-10 min and take NSAIDS
There is no fracture. The ankle swelling and pain means the soft tissue is damaged. It takes time resolve like months. Elevate the leg on 2 pillows and avoid weight bearing for another 7 days.
xray is low quality...picture of sole of foot needed. Is he able to walk and put weight on it while walking ? for now, rest and using support while walking is recommended.

Should visit a specialist for clinical exam. Appears to be some bone injury.
wsalam xray quality is poor.
if patient can walk without pain means no worry.
keep the foot elevated.
take pain killer as prescribed.
repeat good quality xray .
needs good quality of x rays
applied back slab plus elevation
tab Brexin 20 mg BD
tab Denzeen DS TDS
X-rays are of poor quality. Mechanism of injury is concerning for a lisfranc injury. Will suggest to see a specialist and get weight bearing X-rays of foot
