Talk to Cosmetic Surgeon on Subtle Cartilage Fracture In Right Lamina Of Thyroid Cartilage

Few days back I was playing with my 3 year old son, we were playing fighting types games and out of no where his leg hit me bluntly in my throat. I didn't take this seriously but from next day I had throat pain continuously and I am having pain while I sneeze, cough or swallow. Went to a doctor and she did the ultrasound and here is the report. Kindly tell is this serious? I also consulted the surgeon and he prescribed me brufen 3 times a day for 1 week and ask me to drink ginger tea and said no need to worry but the pain is still there and this is making me worried. please guide!
