I have noticed that since few days i have developed a bump on my upper gum, just above a teeth. It feels hard and pains when i press it.

It is an infectious abcess arising due to some on going bone and gum disease get it checked by ur nearest dentist
it need to clinicaly diagnosed. it might need drainage and root treatment of related tooth after properly diagnosis

Proper evaluation is mandatory, if it's associated with any dental pain or caries, get a periapical xray and share with me
It is a peri apical infection but will b cinfrmed aftr an Xray of the near by teeth.
Periapical infection but x ray needed for final diagnosis.!!! Do you have any pain or cavity???
Advised PA xray for further evaluation or clinical examination is must.go and get yourself checked to nearby dentist.
it is due to some trauma or curious lesion. visit ur dentist for evaluation

it is most probably an infection under your lateral incisors tooth.

Get a peri-apical x-ray done for proper diagnosis or visit your nearest dentist.
The Gum swelling is most likely bcz of tooth infection. it's better to visit dentist for proper checkup, a small Tooth x-ray and treatment.
start doing warm water salt rinses and avoid eating Red meat, Brush gently.
in the end get cleaning of teeth done also.
this looks like an infection in your tooth that needs to be drained. visit your dentist, get an xray done, might need a root canal
